Wow my hairloss is almost exactly the same so it’s great to see how it would look during the process when I go through with seems that when it’s just temples it’s easier to disguise it it looks so dense and natural

Good to hear that I can provide some insight. Have you done the hairtransplant yet?

were you required to do the consultation in-person with Dr. Bisagna? That is required for my repair case at least. I've already been in the initial communication stages with the Bisagna rep, just curious on others experiences for comparison.

I'm trying to get a consult from Bisanga also and he's said he would only do so on the basis this could happen in person to ensure a quality assessment. Knowing I was from Australia he gave me the contact details of a former colleague who now lives in Australia who could do the assessment on his behalf. Problem for me is that colleague is still a short flight away (or 9 hour drive) from me and with COVID rules here you never know when a state border restriction could come into place which would prevent me from being able to travel. His suggested former colleague also is currently booked out until end of May at the moment. I had planned a holiday to his city in March prior to all this and I don't think he can squeeze me in unless by some chance there's a miracle cancellation on the days I plan to visit.

I appreciate the caution and professionalism but I have to say it's a little frustrating as I have plenty of other clinics (recommended on this site) willing to at least give me some idea and a quote based on my situation (which is obviously subject to change and be tailored once an in person assessment is made). To some degree this actually makes me want to go to his clinic more as it seems like they have good integrity.

Following up on previous comments related to graft count/requirement for what would generally be perceived as a small surface area, to achieve a completely natural result using the most optimal soft and fine single hair grafts to mimic nature, the following recently posted video very nicely explains the approach and associated graft demands.

100% agree. its very frustrating. My hair repair is the biggest issue in my life and I feel I would do anything to get it repaired, but just being pragmatic it's extremely hard to fly somewhere solely for an in-person consultation. And who knows, maybe the doctor will reject you or you will disagree with his treatment plan.

@HumbleMan

Thanks again for creating your thread and we all look forward to following your evolution of the next months.

You have received some nice comments and support which is always great to see and the opening line on your original post is very nice to read.
"I create this thread to follow my own development, but also in a large extent to inspire and enlighten others who are considering a hair transplant."

As with all patient created threads, it is always appreciated to keep the thread on topic of the patient because after all, the thread is about them and as a community we always want encourage patients from all clinics to detail their experience and growth. As a patient myself, this was by far one of the most valuable factors in considering surgery and ultimately making any decision to proceed and therefore invaluable to this community.

In response/discussion to other comments regarding the need for consultation, in an attempt to keep this thread on topic, I have created a new thread where such discussion can be continued.

I've reached the 4 month mark. And to be honest I'm at a point where I don't feel like pulling my hair back an taking pictures from nine different angels.
So from now on I will take three pictures with my hair styled. Because that's how I will look in public and it will give a better representation of the current state of my hair.

You can clearly see where the hair is a bit thinner at the temples, but when the hairs get thiiic down the line it bit will hopefully be a lot better.

Thank you for the update. Looking great at only 4 months and the next months will show a very nice improvement as hairs mature and settle.
Very pleased for you.

I've reached the 5 month mark. Overall quite satisfied with the progress, although one side is lacking a bit behind with density. But that's quite normal as far as I know. I've taking a few pictures with hair pulled back so the hairline is more visible and then a car selfie with the way I style my hair daily.
When I reach the 12 month mark I will put the pictures side by side to see the real difference.

Halfway trough the journey. Not much to see compared to last month, but I think it's time to set up some comparison pictures to 6 months ago before I had my hairtransplant. When I reach 12 months I will do the last comparison pictures.

Nothing else to say than that I'm very thankful for Dr. Bisanga and his assistants work!
