Online consultations - doctors or doctor's coordinators reviews?

Would like hear your experiences, opinions, about this type consultations called "online" , in meaning most of clinics offer throught their websites so called "online consultations" even it's mostly online forms, where you fill your basic informations like name, surname, age, level of hairloss etc. ,, eventually upload few photos, and send them, and then wait their reply by email or whatsapp, or whatever, some offer even video calls....

Will focus on these who send emails and whatsapp messages, what do you think, are these reviews done by doctors, main doctors i mean, not technicians, not doctor-clinic's coordinators, or sometimes even coordinators send reviews - opinions about hairloos situation , requested graf numbers, suggestion of HT method to be used, etc.?

And this i ask all of you who contacted these "top" clinics, and had such consultations, what's your experience?

 

I say this, cause had different experiences, as i'm person who like talk with facts, and only facts, was different cases, with these "top" clinics, and have honestly saying, that these who replied fast in 1 or 2 days max, mostly such reviews send clinic's coordinators, cause with 1-2 top clinics, will not mention which of those from list of "top"-recommended in Europe , TR , had experience that clinic's consultant sent review and gave opinion without any consultation with doctor , sent hairline his idea , number of grafts, suggested how many HT, etc etc. , usual what doctor explain, as for me that review was very strange, oposite most of what got by other top clinics, i asked is review by doctor or himself-consultant, he confirmed it's by himself ...

So, this made think in that direction, is any of these reviews - online done by doctors , as most of top clinics doctors are busy, and not sure do they reserve some time for this matter... Will not say that's same at all clinics, and think some doctors reserve time for it. , for ex. dr. Freitas, Ferreira, Lorenzo, and few others , their consultants responded that doctors are overloaded in this moment by many request of online reviews, and will respond in 2-4 weeks, what's somehow looks like more real, that these doctors send their own reviews, and not allow consultants do this...

Cause if we get reviews at top clinics by consultants, who are not medical staff, to give such important reviews, but its equal to ask here more experienced members about such opinion, number of grafts, method etc.   , as many of consultants moved from some forums to doctors or ex-patients, etc. , however point is that not ok top clinics, not all , some of them ask for your details, photos, say doctor will review, and then you get opinion of consultant - non-medical staff in clinic.

This can have bigger consequenced later, that happens patient based on "doctor's" review (even it was consultant) booked HT, got infos like 2.5k grafts, DHI method, etc. , and then on day of HT realize doctor see him 1st time, and say 3500 grafts, FUE method must be, as more grafts need, and cause of it, can happen we'll need  cancel HT, as we are not ready for different method, as planned method we get info firs time .

In most cases, it will be the staff answering on behalf of the surgeon. However, it is the surgeon making the graft estimates based on your photos. The rep is only conveying the message.

Yes, but as i explained in my experience, at 1-2 top clinics was case that consultant-coordinator of clinic sent his own review , not one done by doctor, cause i asked was that doctor's review or by himself, he confirmed it's his review , cause was suspicious for me as hairline and HT plan was not so "smart" planned - not logic, too much grafts in some areas where most of clinics didn't suggest it, that's why i was worried, is this case at some other top clinics, i mean would like to hear experience of other members with this matter.

Not ok consultant gives review by himself, as he isnt medical staff, not doctor, but mostly guys who organize HT, book hotel, organize transport, that's why i pointed this, and as i wrote in OP, at some clinics is really by doctors review, cause consultant says will need waitin 3-5 or sometimes 2-4 weeks to get doctor's review, and seems some not ,  not so easy if review was by consultant, and then when we arrives at the day of HT realize it's not even near to doctor's review in personal .
