Senior Member makehairgreatagain Posted September 15, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 15, 2021 Very sad and so preventable. The fact that these clinics advertise and operate like it's as simple as getting your haircut is awful.
Senior Member Doron Harati Posted September 15, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 15, 2021 I am assuming he went through a medical malpractice by a technicians black market clinic, using overdose of anesthesia which caused the heart attack, he wasn't lucky to pull through like I did with Arenamed clinic in Turkey Istanbul, my worse experience ever! Anesthesia must be done only by MD doctor that specializes with anesthesia. 1 Doron Harati - Patient coordinator for HDC Hair Clinic, HT procedures are done by MD Doctors with Microscope FUE. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted September 15, 2021 Valued Contributor Share Posted September 15, 2021 This is why I generally state to do your home work. Even then there are risks but risks can be mitigated. In the past few years I know of two patients who died in India during a hair transplant and another patient from Malaysia lost the sight of one eye from surgery. Remember unlike other medical surgery cosmetic surgery is the most unregulated form of surgery in the world. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix
Senior Member deeznuts Posted September 15, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 15, 2021 Wow age 28??? I thought it was gonna be closer to age 68 not 28. Personally, that's why I feel comfortable going to Europe or North America where consumer protections are more rigorous

Senior Member ciaus Posted September 17, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 17, 2021 Yikes indeed, the news article says it happened before the hair transplant but the whole situation looks shady. Ibrahim Gul, 28, was found by a friend wrapped in a blood socked shroud in an Istanbul morgue after his wife received a call saying he had died before a routine hair transplant surgery on Saturday. Doctors told Gul's wife he suffered a heart attack before the operation, forcing medics to perform an angiography and put in a stent. Police are treating the death as suspicious as both procedures are considered minimally invasive and have arrested the doctor in charge of the operation.
