Hey bro, just found your thread! Congrats! It is already looking killer! I'm sure an update from you would validate it😉! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you, too, my friend!

Here's a quick 4.5 Month Update... crown and temples.

I'd say my crown looks like where it was before I went to Belgium. So I'm expecting improvement from here on out. I'm not using DermMatch anymore, so that's how I know it's turned a corner.

For 4.5 months this is looking like a winner already! Plenty more time for continual growth. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I'm kinda thinking it wasn't enough grafts on the temples. Already thinking about a touch-up with Mwamba, since he visits the US frequently.

Like they say, what's better than more hair? More hair!

Thanks for the update @MachoVato. Looks perfect and with the amount of grafts used here, you can go a lifetime without ever worrying about donor depletion and/or progressive baldness getting the better of you. Congrats brother! Just hit the 4 month mark myself and we are only at the very beginning of our gains! Months 4,5, and 6 will be huge!

Looks fantastic. And I’m not jealous at all …. No not at all 😂🤣

Thank you, sir!

I emailed HLC with my 1 year results, as I told them I would. They replied and said that customers were contacting them with my pictures and asking why I went to Bisanga for my second procedure. Haha!

I mean, HLC was a homerun to me. I know I made a great decision going there. And I'm sure they would have done great work on my crown and temples. But I always wanted to go to Bisanga. He really is a specialist.

I'll probably go to Mwamba next. Unless Europe opens up, maybe I'll finally get a chance to visit De Freitas. I have a total man-crush on his hairlines! 🤣

I've seen your photos. I see early growth already! The difference between month 4 and month 6 is massive. Month 6 to month 12 is crazy!

The worse part of all your new hair? Having to deal with all the attention from the women!

6 Month Update

I'm a few days before my 6 month mark, so here's an update on my crown.

The crown has turned a corner. It looks looks significantly better than before the transplant (which wasn't terrible, to be honest). The crown will take longer to mature than my hairline, that is normal. So I'm excited about the next 6 months.

I'm no longer using Toppik or DermMatch to cover the thinning, especially after the transplant. Truth is, I don't look at the back of my head much any more.

Month 8 Update

Just got a haircut. Crown looking good. I'm able to get a proper haircut now, cut shorter, and it still looks filled in. And temples are fine. I'm thinking I should have added more grafts there. Maybe I should start planning my next transplant for 2023!! :)

Thank you to @MachoVatofor such a well documented journey and for staying consistent with high quality and transparent images.

As a nice addition and thank you for the patients permission, the following video with walk through commentary is nice touch to summarise this thread in video format.

Many thanks and @MachoVato, you look great.
