We have a similar hair loss pattern and I’ve booked a surgery with Dr. Konior for next year, so I’m excited to see your progress! Initial pictures look great; I’m sure it will be a stellar result.

I stayed at the Meridian that has a food option and outside patio restaurant. Used points. You can walk right across to Mall. You can also walk to Gibson's steak house. Gibsons was terrific. Wonderful food and atmosphere. There are endless stores in the Mall. Uber to Konior's office. All is easy and convenient.

Any updates?

Feeling pretty good for 16 weeks… attaching a picture of some messy morning hair.
Yesterday I had my first real haircut since before surgery (I was basically only getting line-ups before and after I got operated on, save the buzz cut I got right after surgery), and my barber’s first reaction was “woah - looking thick!” I’m not sure I agree yet, but I’m also looking at it every day. I *do* think that in the coming months it’s going to start to look even better, so I’m pretty excited for that. No regrets!

Dude that's insane growth for just 16 weeks!! That hairline is looking amazing -- no red marks and completely natural. Did he work on the crown as well in your case or just the frontal third?

Dr. Konior spent a painstaking day going from a very densely packed frontal third all the way back to my crown (which I didn’t think we would even touch). It is not as thick as the front. I am very satisfied with my experience, and very lucky to have been operated on by the folks at The Chicago Hair Institute.

How is the crown looking?

Crown’s OK - most of my grafts were concentrated in the frontal/mid scalp. I may need one just to focus on the crown. I’m not too stressed about it, most people can’t see it anyway!

Update?

Sure - here’s a close up from last weekend. Overall, extremely happy with the front half! I’ll probably go back for another focused on the crown in the future.
