Regular Member Carbon Posted April 14, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted April 14, 2021 I am about 3 weeks post-op and started noticing these type of grafts shedding. I came across this picture through my google search and wanted to know if anyone was familiar with this type of graft? Were they implanted upside down and do they end up growing? Moderators Al - Moderator Posted April 15, 2021 Moderators Share Posted April 15, 2021 Looks like a graft that got bent backwards while being inserted. It happens. I believe they will usually grow, but may take a bit longer. Al Forum Moderator (formerly BeHappy) I am a forum moderator for hairrestorationnetwork.com. Regular Member Carbon Posted April 15, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 15, 2021 I think you guys are right, nothing to worry about. I took a closer look at these type of hair grafts last night. I noticed some of these grafts gets bent after showering and it just lays flat on the recipient area, especially when wet. So when these grafts shed, you get the j-shaped grafts.
