Dr Arshad - Hair Dr

LeeM

Recommended Posts

Hello,
About to take the plunge and book my transplant. I have sent over photos to the team at hair dr and they suggested i would need around 1500 - 2000 grafts.

I have been trying to do a lot of research into this clinic and Dr Arshad and find great results but i always have that worrying feeling in the back of my head. Ive seen for myself how bad all these clinics lie with the reviews on google and trust pilot and struggling to believe everyones social media posts.
I have also approached 2 clinics in Harley street (Healthcare & the Harley street hair clinic) but got put off with the pushy sales tactics and a fixed price for unlimited grafts from one of these clinics)

My phone call with the lady from the hair Dr was great didn't feel pressured once and not had any annoying phone calls or emails trying to rush me which is a bonus.

How do people make that final call and just book it and if anyone else is researching the hair Dr i would love your opinion as well.

Thanks
Lee

Rather than doing research into just one clinic, I recommend you spend a few weeks/months researching hair transplants and the industry as a whole. Spend time on this forum, YouTube etc. and learn as much as you can.

Then you need to identify geographically where you are able or are willing to travel.

Then heavily research clinics within these areas, focusing on patient posted results and vlogs.

This will stand you in a better position to undergo surgery and select the correct clinic for your individual case.

Dr A seems good, he has recently been added to recommended surgeons on here, and is very affordable in relation to other top  European clinics.

It’s just one clinic out of plenty of other great ones - so don’t rush into things.

Dr Arshad is doing some of the best work in the UK in my opinion. Have you seen the forums recommended list for the UK:

https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/surgeon-list/UK/United Kingdom

However as Curious25 has mentioned you should do as much research as possible. Full 12 month patient journeys for example.

If your able to consider travelling in Europe (when we are allowed) it would open up a lot of other choices for you. Some excellent Drs in Spain, Belgium and Cyprus.

These are just starting points though. Dr Arshad is very good but you can also find some other good options out of the Uk.

As much as you have to spend on transplant surgery, a few more dollars traveling to the doctor you feel most comfortable with is not much to pay, and you will have much more peace of mind.

Definitely use our forum as a resource. It’s a good thing you crossed clinics off the list that offer “unlimited grafts” that’s a HUGE red flag.

We recently approved Dr. Arshad for our list based on a lot of positive reviews and results posted here. I would reach out to @Zach Black @mikesFUEstory @Siyork89 @Edsarn2017 to name a few. Get their prospective as patients.

That said, what @JohnAC71 proposed is a good idea. Research and consult with many, and then narrow down based on results, cost, and convenience.

Hi @LeeM I can understand your concerns, it can be very daunting. I have had surgeries with three different doctors. All of whom were ethical, including Dr Arshad. He is a highly trained surgeon, and the aftercare they provide at Hair Dr is amazing. The best I have had.

I would suggest booking several consultations with surgeons on here and ask speak to the doctors themselves.

Also, I had a surgery with Dr Raghu Reddy. He is well worth contacting and produces outstanding results. He’s based in Harley Street.
