From front on it almost creates the illusion he is thinning in the frontal forelock by keeping the remaining tuft as it is. IMO it would be better shaved down, or even better, if the grafts were deemed stable, extracted and reallocated to reinforce his new hairline - however aesthetics are of course completely subjective, so if the patient is content, then nothing to worry about!
