SURGICAL PLAN 6,557 Follicular Units have been transplanted, in 3 steps for the best satisfaction of the patient. 1st Step: Restoration of the frontal, frontal receding hairline and central area - 3019 UFs. 2nd Step: Restoration of the central and vertex area - 2435 UFs. 3rd Step: Density increase in the frontal, central and crown zone - 903 UFs + 200 BHT = 1,103 follicles. Is there a specific reason why Dr. Freitas likes to implant in such way? Surely we don't see in nature hair growing one next to another in a rows as such? What is the hair caliber for this patient? End results looks pretty good. I'm looking myself at 6000-6500 grafts overall on NW5a and think i might get something similar. Regular Member pre-screened Posted February 18, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2021 You could argue that two strips of 3000 each would have been possible on this patient........with virgin doner above and below the strip available for FUE after that, who knows possibly another 2000 by FUE..........never would have had to gone to body/beard hair as an option in that scenario.......and then BHT would have been break in case of emergencies type thing. HOWEVER - maybe patient always wants the tight hairstyle look - from photos it doesn’t appear so. Have a nice day! Not that I'm saying end result isn't natural. It's a home run for sure. Singles in the hairline are doing it's work. If I will get something similar I'd be over the moon.
