BananaMan84 3
Hi, I'm scheduled for an FUE procedure with HLC on the 25th March. UK citizens are not allowed to travel for holidays, but I'm wondering whether anybody has already travelled or knows whether we can travel for cosmetic surgery? Thanks in advance
Captain Haddock 96
Well I'm sure the travel corridors will ease by March 25th, but as of now only essential travel seems to be allowed. There's also hotel quarantine to those who return to the UK. Not really a great time for international travel tbh. Perhaps you could postpone it by a couple of months. GS21 2
In the same boat, due to have a procedure the second week of March in Portugal. Doesn't look promising currently given their 'red list' status and UK cases stagnating and mandatory hotel quarantine (£1750). I'm concerned about legality of travelling for a hair transplant too even if hotel isn't necessary by this time. Wouldn't want to be hit by a huge fine. If anyone has any info would be greatly appreciated otherwise will have to postpone and lose the perfect recovery time of non-life under restrictions.
BananaMan84 3
Yeah, it's very frustrating they don't clarify what is deemed as legal travel. I read somewhere that it's down to the carrier to decide who can travel. So might be worth contacting your airline.
JohnAC71 1,476
We should know a lot more on the 22nd Feb ! I’m really hoping travel will open up.

Thanks in advance I've postponed to April now, hoping travel will be possible then and Portugal moves out of 'red list'. Would be interested in the flying protocols are if you're still travelling for March. What checks are in place, what airport you go from etc if you're able to report back?

GS21 2
Not a helpful reply is it? Relying on this incompetent government not bringing in a vaccine passport until much later.
Blower 20
i have not had no vaccine yet never mind needing the follow up vaccine 12 weeks later i hear...

Thanks in advance Still planning on the 25th March? I've just read that a woman managed to travel for a boob job with a medical exemption form claiming back ache and anxiety as reasons for needing the procedure. I think all of us can cite anxiety for a reason. Might be worth a try, at least then it's not illegal and you're not at risk of a fine. Only issue is, I can't find out where you apply for these. Will require some further digging.

Takes away the stress of travel restrictions, I think it's highly unlikely we will be able to travel in March anyway. Edited February 23 by BananaMan84

BananaMan84 3
As far as I know it's fixed at £3 per graft, they do offer some good interest free finance options though
