Regular Member ejojer9 Posted January 26, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted January 26, 2021 I'm an American. I was supposed to get 3000 grafts done back in June of 2020 with Dr. De Freitas in Spain. Like many others I had to postpone the procedure due to the ongoing pandemic. The new date is March of 2021 but it seems unlikely that I'll be able to make it. Long shot but has any other American had any luck besides getting into Turkey?
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted January 26, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 26, 2021 Vaccines will be rolled out soon. I don't see the travel bans going past summer. It sucks, but a few more months is nothing in the grand scheme of things. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. Senior Member Westview Posted January 26, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 26, 2021 I wouldnt do that because if you do schedule a surgery, and the destination country doesnt let you in, you then lose your deposit as well as having your surgery cancelled. No reputable clinic would penalize you because of the nebulous Corona restrictions all over the place.

Maybe, but the clinic does lose a lot of money because of the cancelled surgery which couldve been filled by a local patient. So the doctor loses money, and OP has his surgery cancelled, which means he has to re-book (probably with a clinic in his area this time), and wait another 3 months
Regular Member ejojer9 Posted January 28, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 28, 2021 I'm likely going to postpone again but I am curious if anyone has had any luck getting to Western Europe for a procedure?
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted January 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 29, 2021 I think Biden just re-instated some of the travel restrictions. I was able to go to Mexico last month with no problems, but Europe is a lot more cautious and was hit a lot worse. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network.
