Senior Member Rossybop Posted November 21, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted November 21, 2020 Can anyone tell me, what circumstances inspire a surgeon to reccomend FUE rather than FUT and visa versa? I know there's pros and cons for both; FUT has a more satisfying higher yield but the linear scar is often somewhat perceptible. FUE might be better for a hairline because it makes it easier to cherry pick single hair units that work best in a hairline, but the yield is lower (about 75% of FUE hairs will grow according to Dr Anastaskis). Tight skin on the scalp might favour one procedure oved the other, and so on and so forth. If anyone could divulge plenty of enlightening knowledge on this subject I'd be grateful. Cheers.
