Coady 13
I am planning on getting my crown done and then moving abroad a few weeks later. Most Clinics say to avoid the sun for 6 months. How do people manage that live in hot climates? I don't want to ruin my transplant or have red scarring.
aaron1234 797
Heat won't be a problem, but direct sunlight will. Wear a hat, because a sunburn can ruin your transplant. 1 2008 Dr. G – presumably 1,000 grafts / 2,142 hairs 2009 Dr. Paul Shapiro – 2,348 grafts / 4,258 hairs 2011 Dr. Paul Shapiro – 1,999 grafts / 3,624 hairs My Hair Transplant Journey with Shapiro Medical Group
Coady 13
Baseball cap can cover the transplanted area. Not fully cover the doner. If their is good hair lenth on the doner would that be ok?
aaron1234 797
Instead of a baseball hat wear an Australian slouch hat. Adapt to your new environment. 👨🌾 1 2008 Dr. G – presumably 1,000 grafts / 2,142 hairs 2009 Dr. Paul Shapiro – 2,348 grafts / 4,258 hairs 2011 Dr. Paul Shapiro – 1,999 grafts / 3,624 hairs My Hair Transplant Journey with Shapiro Medical Group
Dr. Suhail Khokhar 123
You'll be fine if you don't get too much sun exposure.
