There are tons of De Freitas results posted by his patients in the spanish forum recuperaelpelo.com - tons of them. 

And the best results posted are TRULY amazing.

Thank you. Really very good result. Recuperelpelo is a little bit complicated to search, not so simple as HRN. Do you have also some result from Dr. Couto?

Couldn't find many in the spanish forum either. This is what I've found:

If you're watching a clinic posted youtube vid where they are combing through the hair and doing so in natural or harsh lighting then what you see is the truth, although be it a top case that they want to show off. It's still a real result.

Likewise if you see a patient on here post a blurry pic in flattering light that makes a hairline look dense then what you see is probably a lie.

As you say: We can't divide our research into clinic posted=bad and patient posted=good. It doesn't work like that. You need to use your eyes and be honest to yourself about what you're seeing.

It´s a lot easier to take 20-30 photos and then upload them in a few clicks to the clinic website or to a Forum than investing the time and money on creating 3-5 minutes videos which in most cases the clinic might also have to outsource having an extra cost of around $1800-2500/month ... But, what is this for a clinic that operates on 8-12 patients every month. Some clinics can even charge $25000/2000 grafts for just one patient ... Certainly is not about the money. 

Therefore, videos are the BEST way Doctors can show the world their PASSION for their work, their Art... Videos also help to build trust among users, they connect a lot better and they are a lot more transparent and honest than photos...

 

Video content is PRICELESS nowadays. Not even close to see a few photos compared with a before-after VIDEO... 

A clear example of the impact and trasparency of a video is this tutorial you share with our community... would it be the same if this videos were just presented with a few photos and some written text? Absolutely NOT!!!

One of the BEST results I have ever seen on the Internet. Period. 

This is what everyone of us dream when we are thinking about a successful hair transplant. Hopefully I will get a result like this when my time comes in a few years... Freitas for sure is already on my list of amazing surgeons!

Wow, and thanks for sharing those two videos from the Hair Restoration Network Youtube channel, both with great contend indeed. This for sure is an example that videos OFFER a lot more than just text along with images. VIDEOS bring the viewer closer to whatever the video is about. 

I totally agree with you that VIDEOS should already be a must for clinics. It's so much easier to see the final results when watching videos. In my humble opinion, videos really show the complete HONEST result.

I tend to disagree. Videos are a nice add-on, but can in no way replace a presentation with high resolution pictures. Nothing can replace a close up of the hairline or the donor area to evaluate the quality of the work. Video is never that close-up and/or never achieves such a high-resolution/sharpness as a pic with a professional camera. 

Of course, pics can be misleading regarding lightning etc. (just look in my result thread, where I gave an example of my crown), but so can videos. Couto e.g. is a master in making his results look great in his videos (I am not saying there aren't good by any means).

If it wasn't for the plug, we wouldn't have FUT. And if it wasn't for FUT, we wouldn't have FUE. Big picture, plugs were a necessary step to get to where we are today.

Off topic but kind of on topic - ISHRS means jack sh*t for anyone still wondering, I was researching an ‘ISHRS’ member surgeon for a user who reached out to me on here, and found his clinics Instagram page have a before and after of a not so well cropped FUE expert result taken from Dr Couto’s YouTube channel.

I kind of agree with you. Although there are many Konior patients cases if you scroll back in the passed years, what intrigues me is the difference of hairline quality in the cases published by Dr. K's office and the cases published by members themselves.
