Senior Member jimcraig152 Posted October 17, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted October 17, 2020 Good lord. Trying to find an excision in your donor area is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. This is why you pay extra for FUE over FUT. Congrats man! Will follow your progress closely.
Senior Member stephcurry30 Posted October 18, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted October 18, 2020 Is that large crust of dry/dead skin at 1 week normal? I thought it was recommended to avoid that large area of crust? Can anyone confirm?

Didn’t ask about how many more I have in the tank. 14 hours ago, stephcurry30 said: Is that large crust of dry/dead skin at 1 week normal? I think I was too gentle with it at first. Shortly after I gave it a good soak and they came off.

In this picture I'd imagine the crust flake is large because the blood pooled into a thick gob, then dried. Nothing out of the ordinary though. You must be so pleased. Can you show us some before pics? I'm sure everyone would love to see what the situation was before...
Regular Member Retressed Posted January 4, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 4, 2021 Haven’t posted in awhile. Wasn’t much to report, usual ugly duckling phase. Hairs fell out and head was red. It sucked but covid did make things a bit better since I wasn’t doing much anyways. This is just past 3.5 months. Back is just cut with a 1 guard. Regular Member Retressed Posted February 18, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2021 So it’s been exactly 5 months now. Things are coming along I think. I also managed to find and old picture of my before hair. Not the greatest shot and it’s a few years old but I didn’t take many hairline pictures before. Regular Member Retressed Posted January 7, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 7, 2023 I know it’s been quite awhile. Meant to update along the way but life got in the way. Figured I’d do a little update now as posts like this gave me the confidence to go through with this. Not the best photo’s just ones that were easy to crop my hair out. Tried to get as many different angles and lights as I could. Really pleased with how things turned out. There’s one spot that’s a little weaker that maybe one day I’d like fixed but it is easily hid and only really noticeable to me. Can easily style my hair now and mostly forget I’ve ever had anything done.
