Lol if this was a week earlier would have came at the perfect time for me. On the 9th day saw some small strands of hair and thought I dislodged a graft and went into a panic. No physical intervention, no blood, just me and paranoia. Looking forward to tripping out over more shedding in the next 2 weeks 😅

Thanks for this post, it will be a big help to many fellow worriers.

I was sure I touched my head in my sleep the night after my HT, and on the plane back to London I was wearing my big baseball cap and I sort of hit my head on the compartment above.

I also got caught in a monsoon in Central Park and was freaking out about the rain getting through my hat.

It all turned out fine but I have always wondered if I did any damage - after seeing this post it looks like I didn't lose any grafts.

2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now.

Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018.

Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week.

Wrote a book for newbies called Beating Hair Loss, available on Amazon

Yes, guys are often too scared and nervous they ruined their grafts. In my experience, even if you hit a few you’ll be overall okay.

Although a rare occurrence, lost grafts will usually happen within 24-48 hours post-op.

And yes, there almost always will be a trickle or stream of blood running down from the site it popped out.
