Seniormido
Hi all, Is SMP a good option if you want to only hide previous FUE scars with full head razor shave. I do not mean full head SMP but only to the fue scars. Edited September 24, 2020 by Seniormido
Senior Member LaserCap Posted September 24, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted September 24, 2020 There are a couple of reasons why a patient may do FUE. One, they wear the hair very short and do not want to have a scar showing. Others feel FUT is somewhat barbaric and want to move forward with the latest in technology. Whatever the reason, - the assumption and expectation is the doctor will be capable of accomplishing the job showing not only a great result, but with no visible scars. And, with time, we've found a .9mm or smaller will allow for this type result. So, if you are in need of a camouflaging agent to covers cars. the assumption then is the doctor used a punch far bigger than a .9mm - defeating the whole purpose of the procedure. Can you share with us who the doctor was? My first suggestion is to let your hair grow a bit longer. That should suffice. Yes, you could SMP, but if you do end up wearing your hair high and tight, you'll see discoloration. Again - wearing your hair a bit longer would also address the issue.
