Finasteride and Childrens' Health

I've tried to message a couple of members regarding this topic but I felt I'd get a clearer answer if I publicly post my question. 

Can Finasteride affect the health of children?

To be clearer, let's say someone has been on Finasteride for a couple of years and decided to try for a child. Can the fact that he has been on Finasteride for quite some time affect the health of his child assuming his partner was able to get pregnant? (I know it's advisable to stop while trying for a child and that pregnant woman or those who are planning to get pregnant should not handle the pills, but my question is regardless of whether he stops when trying to have a child and assumes that the woman will not handle the pills).
