Succesful repair ongoing with dr Feriduni in Belgium!

Hello,
In 2017 I have had a bad FUE in Turkey. The hairline was too low and too hard (due to use of double/triple grafts in the front line),the density was not good and the grafts were implanted in a wrong direction. Furthermore I had pitting, so all together, one word: HORRIBLE.
In 2019 I contacted Dr Feriduni and he proposed a two step approach:
1. Extraction of the too low implanted grafts (with re-use) to make the hair line higher (in two steps), including extraction of the grafts with wrong impantation angle (600grafts)
2. Reconstruction of the new hairline and create more density (+/- 1000 grafts). I was lucky to have enough donor area to obtain this higher density.
Dr Feriduni is very careful in this repair-cases in order to get a natural result and to avoid extra damage of the traumatised skin.
I highly recommend him if you have a bad hair experience...
Futhermore I would never go to Turkey again for such an important treatment. We have the best surgeon in our country, why travelling far away...?
I really subcribe this phrase: " A good hair transplant is never cheap, and a cheap hair transplant is never good"...
The staff is very skilled, they are very professional.... I cannot wait to see my final result.

Dr. Feridunini is one of the very best elite. I must say, I’ve seen worse botch jobs from Turkey, but the difference is night and daybin refinement.

The new hairline looks good, but how do you feel about the scarring in front of the hairline from all the graft removals?

Hello, well this will fade away little by little and the doctor told me after 6mounths we could do a laser to make the skin look better. I think this will be ok, but I have to wait now to see how it goes. In fact I prefer the scars and have a natural hair look.

Do you have experience with graft removal and scarring?

Ugh, another victim of Turkey's hair mills....  🤢 The good news is that Feriduni is top notch and I like the surgical approach here. 🤙 I had some multi's removed from my hairline before too and it healed up really well - I can't find them anymore. Your new hairline is gonna look so much better.  All the best!

Thank you Davy, for sharing your experience! As somebody who will need a Removal in the coming Future, this thread is invaluable! If it isn't too much to ask, do you have a close up Picture of the Area where the grafts where removed? I really would like too see how it healed up in this time!

Again, thank you! I will bookmark this tread!

I don't see any scarring, so that's a very good thing. You placed the removed grafts into the current hairline and back a bit is that right? If so then that area should thicken up over the next few months and it should all look excellent by then.

Hello, this is an update today, 3 months after second extraction.20200928_132923.thumb.jpg.ae7eca75d1423dd628dc4f6dd494a65a.jpg

That looks great. Can't see any visible scarring. Do you mind telling me how much did Dr. Feriduni charge you per graft and did he charge anything extra for the repair part of the procedure (i.e. graft removal etc.)?

This is interesting to see.  I am an ongoing repair myself.  Was harmed by the doc and trying to get a successful repair.  I didn’t go to Turkey though.  It was Canada and was the start of my traumatized skin and yield issues due to many issues with the surgical protocol.

looking forward to these updates.

did you have any raised ridging in front prior to the repair?

Thanks for sharing!

@Davy that is a brilliant repair and you have a fantastic (natural) hairline that you could never pick out. The scars will continue to heal and disappear over time and your scars are imperceptible anyway. Great to hear a positive story and another lesson for those who are willing to make the same mistake. All the best!

Hello Sean,

Your question is if I had pitting in the transplanted zone before?

Yes there was a bit pitting due to the treatment in Turkey, I see also the skin was a bit ridged in this zone.

The doctor has now put extra transplants in the zone to make it more dense, so this will be less visible, I think

@Davy Hey! It's really encouraging to see your results! I have a similar case of a very bad hairline design and poor growth which I'd need to repair.

Can you please share an updated close-up picture of your hairline?

I'd really like to see what the scarring looks like today... this would really help me.

Cheers!
