Senior Member TorontoMan Posted July 7, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted July 7, 2020 Recently read an article that suggests 0.25% concentration of topical finasteride decreases dht in the scalp at about 70% similar to that of 1mg oral, while reducing systemic dht by only 20-30 percent. The side effects would also be individual, unless they did a double-blind test with a large pool. As far as I’m aware, jury’s still out on the efficacy and side effects.
