Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 2, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted July 2, 2020 Was this your first procedure? I remember the redness lasted longer for me in the first procedure than the others. Like almost 9 months. Don't worry though, it'll eventually be better in time. Annoying I know... Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 2, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted July 2, 2020 I really didn't use anything regularly. Maybe Hydrocortisone 1% on occasion. Eventually it just went away. 1 Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008 Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013 Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020 My Hair Transplant Journey with Shapiro Medical Group
Senior Member Gabreille Nelson Mukhia Posted July 2, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted July 2, 2020 I had redness on my transplanted area too for a long time. It did eventually didappear by itself. I don't think so it is something you should be worried about. It should go away by itself even if you don't use any products for it. 1 Official representative of Eugenix Hair Sciences Dr. Arika Bansal & Dr. Pradeep Sethi https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5crlGyTac2hlU1gHneADzQ
Regular Member O Hare 57 Posted July 2, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted July 2, 2020 Advice: Go see a good dermatologist. Could be dermatitis, folliculitus, irritation from some topical, ect. ect. You might benefit from clobetasol shampoo, if necessary, (prescription required). There are dozens of minor skin ailments. Could be allergic reaction to something or many other things. Dr. of Derm will settle it for you. Call now. Better to know than wonder and worry.
