ArochaAngel4247
This patient came to Dr. Arocha with severe thinning. He was an AGA NW4v. He had a total of 4500 grafts transplanted in a total of two FUT procedures. The before images were taken immediately following his first procedure. The after results were taken 1.5 years after his second transplant. 1st Transplant: 3000 grafts 2nd Transplant: 1500 grafts Please note: the backgrounds are different because Dr. Arocha converted his photo studio into a professional studio over the course of this patient's transplant journey. Senior Member BDK081522 Posted June 26, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted June 26, 2020 Kind of a misleading representation due to the patient's hair being wet in the before pictures. Wet hair will always appear thinner but nonetheless still a very nice result. 1 Bosley 11-2016 FUE - 1,407 grafts Dr. Diep 09-2017 FUE - 2,024 grafts Dr. Konior 03-2020 FUE - 2,076 grafts Dr. Konior 09-2021 FUE - 697 scalp to scalp, FUE - 716 beard to beard Total scalp FUE - 6,204 grafts
Senior Member Mycroft Posted June 26, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted June 26, 2020 This one is beautiful, and a perfect example of why I find diffuse loss so frustrating. I appreciate how the work largely maintains the natural shape of the hair and focuses on adding thickness/density to the pattern. Nothing was radically redesigned here but the patient's hair now looks healthy and strong rather than "sickly." The donor pictures are great to have as well. I honestly wish that was a requirement for all presentations on the forum. Did the patient split the front and the back across two procedures or was the second pass more a general focus on adding density throughout the scalp?
