I think there is still room for it to improve within the next four months or so. In the meantime it doesn't look overly patchy or thin so I think you're in a good spot. Just try to chill for now. I expect its recovered fully and he hasn't posted back because he has no reason to continue complaining. Its a shame the Doctor had to be dragged through the mud in the meantime.
