Hairloss30
I am undecided on weather to undergo a hair transplant or wait another year or two... I worry that a HT right now may damage the hair I already have, and the density may not be any better then where I am now (I dont know what exactly is possible w a HT)? What do you guys think, especially those members who have undergone FUT/E in the past? If yes, how many grafts would I need? current regime: topical fin/minox @ night, and minox foam in the AM. pic 1: top dry inside Pics 2-5: semi wet after haircut outside under the sun
Regular Member TheRealist Posted June 7, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted June 7, 2020 Do NOT have transplant, you are diffuse thinning, you will go bald at a rate of knots if you do, stay on the meds and the minx wit at least a few years

Senior Member Doron Harati Posted June 8, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted June 8, 2020 Wayyyyy too soon for HT! You got years to wait. 4 months ago I had a patient in your condition, he went to clinic in Turkey, they botched his front with regression and depleted his, then I he asked me for a repair and we did him 1000 grafts for his hair line, he was barley Norwood 2. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted June 8, 2020 Valued Contributor Share Posted June 8, 2020 Yes I would definitely not have a hair transplant. Especially at this stage. How long have you been on finasteride/minoxidil for? I would definitely stay on these two drugs and assess their outcome after 8-12 months. Their are plenty of vloggers on YouTube that have obtained fantastic results from minoxidil use alone. Remember you can always have a hair transplant 'tomorrow.' Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted June 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2020 Invest in some dermmatch and fibers instead, you’ll be good on that for years, once you’ve lost ground, look into HTs again.
