greenboy1996
Hello I was wondering if what I’m experiencing is hair loss or just a mature hairline and if if is should I start taking actions now to help fight it? I’ve added very recent photos of my hairline along with the best ones from 2015 and 2016 after that it’s pretty hard to get a good look at my hairline. The only person in my family to ever experience hair loss was my mother’s father which I know is a biggie so for about a year now I’ve been starting to pay attention. I’m 24 now and I’ve also added the very first photos I took when starting this. They’re all on order of year so the last ones are most recent. Thank you to anyone who took the time to answer. Senior Member Britanium Posted June 3, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted June 3, 2020 Most people on this forum are probably having hair jealousy right about now. Agree with what’s been written above by Dave160.
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted June 3, 2020 Administrators Share Posted June 3, 2020 Looks like it is starting to recede, I’m assuming you were born in 96? That means you’re 23/24. At that age, hairline recession could lead to substantial hair loss. Definitely try meds to slow it down. You can consult with a surgeon in your area. https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/hair-transplant-surgeons.asp I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. You should consult a Dermatologist and start with Finasteride. You are beginning to lose hair. If you can prevent any further hair loss then there is nothing like it.
