Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted June 2, 2020 Administrators Share Posted June 2, 2020 I know @duchaine uses oral minoxidil with good results. It’s hard to get a hold of in the US, but Europe may be different. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. My comments are not medical advice. Senior Member Sam818 Posted June 3, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted June 3, 2020 I tried oral minoxidil for a while. Mostly because I was dealing with skin issues on my scalp so I discontinued topical. I had fluid retention which felt weird as well as some shortness of breath so I stopped it. Senior Member gillenator Posted June 5, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2020 All forms of minoxidil can potentially affect the heart rate so shortness of breath may have been one of the side effects of the oral medication.
