Regular Member happyandsad Posted April 7, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted April 7, 2020 I’m almost 3 months after my ht. Had 3900 grafts done, mainly hairline and then dispersed throughout mid scalp and crown. Ive had some folliculitis, which is getting better, but I’ve noticed a part of my transplant area feels a little swollen and is actually numb to the touch. No fluid or pus if I try to squeeze it - normal or no? Could it be some type of scar tissue/collagen?
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted April 7, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 7, 2020 What did you take for the folliculitis? Could be an infection, I’d visit a dermatologist. Senior Member gillenator Posted April 7, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted April 7, 2020 The numbing is probably more related to some nerves that were severed by the recipient incisions. Senior Member gillenator Posted April 10, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2020 The lidocaine would be well worn off 3 months post-op.
