Looks good, very thin. Be careful and don’t do anything to stretch it.

Thanks. Doc said I’m good to go  back to lifting weights and running however I’ll wait another 10 days I think.

Your incision site is looking good. As Melvin said, continue to be careful with it so that it has a chance to mature as a thin scar.

whats your age? Are you on fin? Do you plan to wear your back and sides longer moving forward? I imagine the FUT scar would be visible at the length you have in the preop pics.

Thanks

im 35, I use fin plus dutasteride every three days. I plan to do a modified fade due to the cut

Thanks for the info. How long have you been on fin/dut? Any sides at all?

Did you create a thread about your first procedure? If not, it would be interesting and helpful for others to see where you started from prior to your FUE, how many grafts, etc and to get a feel for how it’s held up over the last 6 years.

Yes look at my signature about my first procedure.

also, no sides from fin anymore. I have now been on it for 14 years. In the first 6 months I had some depression, and the other typical sides but then it all went away. I added dutasteride about 3 years ago once every three days, no sides.

Any specific reason you added dut? Sounds like your hair was holding up well

My transplanted hairs started getting thin after 22 months and I got nervous.

Hallo,
your HT is very promising and the scar looks good!
Just to satisfy my curiosity.
I'm a big fun of unshaven hair transplant. In fact, the only thing I hate of Ht is the time I need to re-grow my hair!
But in your case, considering the "weird" hair cut you had after the operation, why didn't you shave your head before?

Thanks. I didn’t shave before the transplant because I wanted the surgeon to get a clear picture of where my thinning was. Once he drew it out they shaved down the area

This looks great. I went FUE first for better or for worse so I’ll be following this with interest. Why did you choose Dr Bloxham is he local to you? Or simply the best man for the job?

Bloxham was very close by but the thing that sold me was his work that I saw on YOuTube. It started when I went for a consultation so he could tell me how many grafts I had left for another surgery, I was not intending to go with him at first. I just wanted an evaluation of my graft count so I could go to Turkey again with some other doctor. But when I sat down with him, everything he explained sold me on his work. Then I watched every video with him and Dr Fellar on YouTube and I was sold on FUT with Bloxham.

Looks good irry88, my shockloss was about the same at one month and it got a little worse around 2 months but by 2 1/2 it’s starting to grow back already.

2 months later donor

havent had my haircut for a while now, but there is some shock loss for sure. I notice new hairs are growing on top of the scar so the donor situation should be decent by month 6.

the  front is slowly growing, I can feel hairs coming through.
