LonelyGraft
Just wondering why the bottom section of the patients crown was not restored/reinforced? There seems to be an apparent gap
Valued Contributor Steeeve Posted March 9, 2020 Valued Contributor Share Posted March 9, 2020 I share LonelyGraft’s curiosity about the crown? Was this due to the graft limit? Was the patient advised to wait for more recession in the crown? Excellent work on the frontal section. Very natural. The height of the hairline is nice but the slight widows peak really frames his face well!
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted March 10, 2020 Administrators Share Posted March 10, 2020 @LonelyGraft if you look at his pre-shave pictures, that section still has some good coverage. I don't think they need to cover that area yet. Also, as the hair is grown out, it will fall downward and cover that area anyway. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. Senior Member L0ke Posted March 10, 2020 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 10, 2020 Donor preservation is always our first goal. The upper part (zone 4 and 5) is placed in high density, the lower part is filled in with low/medium density. This in order to create a natural degree of density. Hair loss occurs downwards and indeed, @Melvin-Moderator as the hair is grown out, it will cover that area. We have also discussed a potential rethickening surgery with our patient after 1 year, when necessary. Attached an example of similar case. 1 L0ke - Representative for Dr. Feriduni
