10 months and still not getting anywhere

Hey well it's now been 10 months since I had my hair transplant and still no sign of the crown growing or thickening. It was the crown I mainly went for as I was thinning on it and hated it when people stood behind me. The left side hasn't caught up with the right on the frontal area too. I'm happy with the front but like I said it was the crown I mainly went for😣

Here are the pics now but the crown is pretty much the same as it was before I had it done. I waited until I was 32 and hair loss slowed down which wasn't dramatic but still pretty bad if you look at the crown area now.

I looked at your previous thread that had an 8 month picture and it looks like you've had some good improvement in the front since then, so you may be a slow grower. I've heard from some patients before who said they had some really good thickening through months 10 and 11, so hopefully you will be getting some good thickening too. Some people also say their crowns grow in slower than the front. Hang in there for the full 12 months and see what happens.

Can you show before photos of the crown? It is possible that the original hair you had in the crown area prior to your procedure has fallen out and that what you have now is mainly transplanted hairs. The crown often takes two procedures to give appearance of better density because the hairs are place in a spiral pattern versus hairs placed in the frontal area are all placed in the same direction.

How many grafts have you had in total. Do you have any more pictures?

5500 grafts. I'm waiting for them to send me pics as I lost them on my phone

Nice results and yes, the crown can take much more time...I saw better maturing even up until now as I’m am almost 21 months post my HT procedure with ASMED and am also doing a Minox and microneedling routine that’s also improved my crown.

Thanks, hopefully I'll see an improvement over the next few months 🙂 unfortunately I get side effects from both monoxide and finistride. (Had to be me 😣) with monoxide so the results are without those. Is ppt or what ever it's called any Good? It's £350 per injection so I wouldn't want to keep paying that amount for something that might not work ext.

You should be happy your hair looks so much better..The crown is always hard to fill, people usually get a 2nd hair transplant just to fix the crown, but your hair looks great overall man and it looks natural, good stuff!

Vay canına şimdi bir fark görüyorum 😐 sadece taç kalınlaştığını tahmin ediyorum sanırım şimdi nasıl olduğunu görmeye alıştım.
