Is the shampoo/dye Just For Men Control GX safe for hair post-HT ?

It's been a year since my HT, very happy with it. Now I'm considering applying the shampoo/dye Just For Men Control GX. Can anyone tell me if it's safe and will not damage my hair, please?

I am no authority on the subject, but I have seen commercials for a class action lawsuit regarding Just for Men for some kind of adverse reactions to phenylenediamine. Is this a substantial risk for the average user? Is this just a case of lawyers trying to make some money? I have no clue.

Have you used the product in the past?

Haven't used any dye since the HT. Pre-HT I tried other brands occasionally. My worry is that post-HT hair might be more sensible or something like it.
