Senior Member Sijac09 Posted January 25, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted January 25, 2020 Hi Guys, I recently had my fue hair transplant and I’m on day 17. I was previously using Nizoral shampoo and I’ve tried several anti dandruff shampoos and this stuff worked best for me, however I’ve heard this stuff is quite caustic and worried with using after my hair transplant. Does anyone know of any good alternatives? That shouldn’t damage my hair grafts, but still very effective. My dandruff has started to come back and need to treat it ASAP thanks

LonelyGraft
I would def stay away from nizoral for at least a month. I believe some dandruff is normal after a procedure as the scalp is irritated and producing more sebum. It's also difficult to not wash properly or as hard as before because you're being extra cautious with the grafts. I'd def talk to you doctor about what they view as a safe alternative for now. I've read a few doctors recommend head and shoulders to use. I never tried it because that shampoo tends to give me a stinging/allergic sensation on my scalp. Def follow up with your doctor. Senior Member paddyirishman Posted January 26, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted January 26, 2020 Use Aloe Vera gel from Dr. Organic. It works wonders for dry scalp. I have posted and other forum users has posted about it on my HT thread ..Experience of an Irishman. .....Paddy...
