Regular Member Schiller Posted January 20, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted January 20, 2020 There is some regular discussion of the pain of scalp injections, especially with PRP. I ran across this article and found it pretty interesting and encouraging. Also, I think such patches might be particularly helpful with cicatricial alopecia or other alopecias that leave distinct bald areas on the scalp. https://cen.acs.org/pharmaceuticals/drug-delivery/Microneedle-patch-encourages-hair-regrow/97/i15

Regular Member Schiller Posted January 20, 2020 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 20, 2020 Right. Mice. Sure. But such a device could make it possible for a pharmacy to deliver PRP or exosome therapy. Costs might drop enough to allow a great many more people to have the benefit of those therapies. Mice or not, that such innovations are on deck is exciting, I think.
