H & W Doug
Vancouver area patient in his mid 30’s bothered by his receding hairline. He tried PRP but was not happy with its minimal at best results. Dr. Hasson and team used 4,500 grafts via FUE to rebuild a new lower hairline and frontal zone blending into the mid-scalp. 350 singles were used in the hairline, 3182 were double hair grafts and 968 were 3-4 hair grafts. His donor hair was good with high density and average texture. These photos were taken 9 months post-op. I am a salaried employee of Hasson and Wong since 2001. Opinions expressed are my own. Regular Member Carjoca Posted January 10, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted January 10, 2020 superb result, congrats to the patient and the clinic! Recognize a bit of a different hair color (more dark) in the post OP pics, is that still the natural hair color of the patient? all the best Carjoca
Senior Member jjsrader Posted January 11, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted January 11, 2020 (edited) Would like to see the FUE extraction zone on this one if you got it. 35K USD right there. That's like 4 boob jobs and 7 nose jobs! 😆 It just seems unreal in terms of pricing! 4500 FUT would be 17.5K USD This patient's ratio of 2 hair and 3-4 hair grafts to 1 hair grafts must be in the 3rd standard deviation of patients. OR w/a 1st FUE one can really cherry pick higher graft follicular units whilst still keeping the spacing really spread out. I am going to get scar revision via FUT w/H&W (1000K grafts) probably summertime w/Dr. Wong (had a consult w/their rep in Toronto Feb '19). Regardless of my reluctance to finish my hair restoration career w/ the more expensive FUE - I'll probably end up going w/H&W for FUE as well. Love their work - gotta' reach deep into the wallet though. It's that damn Canadian markup!!! Ha! Us Americans don't even get the 30% exchange rate reduction. $1 USD equals $1.30 CAD Edited January 11, 2020 by jjsrader adjusted for USD
Senior Member hairlossPA Posted January 11, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted January 11, 2020 @jjsrader i bet you this dude has no issue with the money and it’s the best money he’s ever spent... you pay for what you get. H&W is top 3, if not the best for a reason...

The numbers are actually given and the majority are 2s, which is pretty normal. Actually, thus numbers are on the lower side for FUE which makes sense for a hairline case. 400+ grafts in 2018 and 2900 grafts in 2020 via FUE with Feriduni
Senior Member jjsrader Posted January 19, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted January 19, 2020 Regardless then - top notch result for sure. For such a small area - it's a one & done.
H & W Doug
Thanks everyone for the comments! Carjoca, That is still the natural hair color. Sometimes its hard to get the lighting conditions to exactly match. Jjsrader: Nightcrawler, The procedure took 2 days, back to back. 1 I am a salaried employee of Hasson and Wong since 2001. Senior Member Mycroft Posted January 22, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 22, 2021 Wow! Letting it grow out a bit was a great idea. Those waves in his hair really enhance the result.
Huncholini
Really great result. If you get 4500 grafts in only the frontal region of the scalp from a top clinic then it wouldn't be unreasonable to be unhappy with anything less than this however. Senior Member deeznuts Posted March 10, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted March 10, 2021 Great result! Actually, I'd love to see more examples of hair line designs like this or the one posted by Aftermath in his 660 graft post. I know H & W kinda does it all so you guys have to show off a bit of everything from NW6s to repair cases, but since I'm hairline shopping, I'd love to see a few more of those NW1 hairlines drawn on by a ruler and then styled up to showcase the hairline styles that you see everywhere on Dr. Rahal's or Dr. De Freitas' sites. You know, the hair model hairlines that us lower Norwoods dream about lol. Seems like Dr. Hasson likes to restore hair into an M-shaped hairline but I'd love to see some of those results where the guy walks in a NW2 in their 30s and comes out a NW1
