hairtrainsplant2019
Hi all I recently had a Saphire blade transplant done in Turkey (hairline and the crown), the overall experience was good but it's my 7th day today after the transplant, please see the photos of scalp these before(dry) and after the wash(wet) I am bit concerned that these photos don't look good to me, is that infection or normal? Any advice is appreciated. Senior Member Looking for HT Posted January 2, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted January 2, 2020 Looks like the scabs as they go white when you wash them . Did doc not tell to remove them gently on 8th day in the shower?
Senior Member Shera Posted January 3, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted January 3, 2020 It appears you are actually being too careful when washing your hair and even sleeping because you do not want to disturb your transplanted grafts, this is not a bad thing. I would say that after day 10 it is safe for you to gently massage the scabs when they are wet and soft during washing with gentle circular hand motions which should prize them away from your scalp. After day 14 you should be relatively scab free.
