18 days since my HT at Ciniks clinic with his DHI team. No problems after OP, all went smootly there and later at home. On third day i could go already to work if i wanted. Recovery seems good, fast so far. Still no visible shedding (crossing fingers i am lucky and in the small procent of people who dont shedd). Taking biotin (10.000mcg), multivitamins and saw palmetto. No drinking, smoking and following all the rules, except masturbation (i hope this doesnt have effect on result). Dont know what to do with fitness, i am missing it so bad, i thought i can start after 1 month, but the guy who was giving us instructions after HT next day said no weight lifting for 2, 2.5 months...still thinking to start after 1 month.

Dont know yet if i will be happy with the results. Looks like they didnt make it totaly straight (also some coworkers mentioned it), but i guess you can cover this later with longer hair. I hope it will not turn out bad. Will wait now to see how this turns out and then try finasteride after 1 year to maintain my result or maybe thicken my hair. Will see.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

@vanilia good luck for your ht, I wanted to ask you why so much time to resume physical activity, the particularity of DHI with respect to a normal FUE?  I am aware that those who make FUT are advised to wait a little longer because of the scar.

i dont know, didnt ask, cause one other assistant first told me 1 month over whatsapp, then this guy there 2 months..i  will start probably after 1 month. never heard before about 2 months before. And its not because of DHI he said 2 months, because there were two other guys with me who had FUE and he told them the same.

Hi

Work and hairline design looks good to me, hairline should be a little “irregular” to make it appear natural....too straight a hairline and it could look fake and unnatural and when your hair is longer you likely won’t notice much.

Good luck with your progress!

I am currently taking Saw Palmetto the clinic gave me, but this seems to be a very small dose (200mg). I see you can buy on amazon 500mg

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074NY11N7/?cv_ct_id=amzn1.idea.12QZP7YH9NDMF&cv_ct_pg=storefront&cv_ct_wn=aip-storefront&ref=exp_cov_markrichards_dp_vv_d

should i change? is 200 mg enough?

i don't know if it's worth to buy this one from amazon. Did you see the gradients?...milk, fish etc. what for? it should be only saw palmetto berries. I have the 540mg one from swanson. Can you send a photo of the one from the clinic?

here...i think this is probably just some basic version they give... i also think its not in the best interest of clinic that we prevent hair loss, since they loose a potential 2nd time customer

update on hair...day 30 today, almost all have fallen out now in last 7 days, like expected...i am in the hardest time now, need to survive those 3 months that are coming now, looking worse then ever...what is hardest is i cant go out in clubs now or meet women, cause dont wanna see me like this... hope it will be worth it at the end

36 days today.... its harder then i thought it will be, being all the time at home and knowing you cant go out really, meeting women...especially durring those holiday days where most of people do party...

i  hope the result will be solid, but i am not so positive anymore and not in a good mood, i also removed myself from all people, not going out, only at job and fitness, which is giving me an extra fuck in the head (the loneliness). Also dont really like how hairline looks now, but hope it will be not so noticable with longer hair.

2 months update and things are slowly starting to get better and more positive. I am so relieaved the hardest months are behind me and it was really hard to be honest (not the operation itself), but ok i made it hard for myself, cause of isolationg myself from the world and not going out (except to job). Still a little red in front and absolutly no signs of any procedure in donor area.

3 months and 3 days...nothing new, still waiting for the new hair starting to grow. I hope it starts soon. Sorry for the crappy pics

One question, is it bad if i start taking finasteride 4 months after OP? should i rather wait 1 year after OP?

4 months and 1 week...things are starting to look very good, slowly... i know i was very negative at the beginning because time of isolation was hard as hell, but already now i see it was a good choice to do the HT and i absolutely dont regret.

Full growth does not show until 10-12 months. And in my own experience (5 ht’s) I have noticed improvements even after 12 months.

looking from the front the hairline looks good to me. True hairlines are not perfect.

the next 6 months is where you will see the best improvements.

I've seen a lot of different results, and for some people the growth speed may be quick while for others it may take a little longer. Just you wait man.
