Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted July 19, 2019 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2019 You guys would be amazed at the amount of worthless hair loss products I'm advertised every day. Things claiming to regrow hair by putting things that look like waist belts on your head. Other treatments claiming to be the "all-natural" finasteride. What are the worst hair loss products? Regular Member AssaultedByDHT Posted July 20, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted July 20, 2019 There was that hyped Italian product called Brotzu potion, which came out marketed as Trinov. It was completely useless. Nioxin is also pretty much useless. I heard it had some efficacy before the company relocated and the formula changed. Moderators Al - Moderator Posted July 20, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 20, 2019 Back in the 80's I tried New Generation and Helsinki Formula which both are the same basic solution sold by two different companies. They were found to be falsely claiming it grew hair by the FTC, but both lotions are still an sale today. https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/1997/02/court-order-brings-close-ftc-lawsuit-against-makers-helsinki I also tried Omexin which was also found to have false claims by the FTC. https://www.casewatch.net/ftc/news/1992/wexler.shtml 1 Al Forum Moderator (formerly BeHappy) I am a forum moderator for hairrestorationnetwork.com. Senior Member Dazed Posted July 20, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted July 20, 2019 I always go by the thinking that if they worked the company would have no reason to advertise because customers would beat a path to their door. Senior Member CosmoKramer Posted July 20, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted July 20, 2019 I used to waste money on that junk SHEN-MIN herbal supplement back in the day, and “copper peptide” lotions, never saw anything positive from em.
