I don't think it would be as effective as dermarolling. Combing it with electrical stimulation or minoxidil to augment its effects would be interesting directions to go as well. I think a lot would depend on if the underlying fascia had fibrosed already or not. The balance between hormesis and anti-oxidation is the fulcrum around which every hair follicle rotates. However, I have never seen any studies that show its efficacy.
