Yes, Dr Bloxham & Feller have a great patient video example of slow maturing of one of their patients and i believe he improved dramatically up until the 24th month if I recall.
Hmm, I stopped Finasteride 1month post op and I have not read that stopping Finasteride might slow maturation but it is a possibility since the new hairs are in their infancy and DHT/other hormones still might be attacking them. In my opinion and experience I believe over combing/shampooing/styling/blow drying the new growing transplanted hair befor 6-months may be detrimental because there is a chance of pulling out the new fine ht hairs before they thicken and gain strength and then you’d have to wait for a new follicle to grow again, which they will but I was just cautious with it...now they’re nice and strong and holding up great even with being microneedled.
That said, I’m sure the clinic will take care if you if you’re not satisfied.
Hopefully your right, since i searched in the web, and i found its actually true that hairline would appear slightly lower after the swelling subsided.
Also other thing that i wished i looked at is adding some hair to the temporal area, since it would reframe the face better and reduce the area of forehead. However i am a 34 year old, and i found multiple articles not recommending temporal hair restoration before the age of 35, because the hair loss will progress further at this area.
Yeah, many credible sources (including the clinic) say it often takes up to 18 months to see the final result. The clinic also said that I'll likely be slower to mature because I'm not on finasteride. Not sure why that would have any effect on DHT-resistant donor hairs, but perhaps it's true.
Also, if Bloxham's estimates for growth (and, by extension, my model) are right, growth actually accelerates on the average grower up until 10 months, so I should theoretically progress from being 64% complete to 90% done in the next two months.
Yeah, I see what you’re saying, and I agree, still more time for improvement, I actually saw new sprouts ht hairs even close to my 10th month in the frontal area, and maturation really improved for me about after my 12th month but I believe I am a fast grower so I wouldn’t call it a final result for you yet.
