FUE’s performed on a 39-year old Caucasian male with

• Norwood V, Class T - P
• Donor density of 96 FU/cm² parietal, 88 FU/cm² temporal
• Hair diameter of ~54-58 microns

1. Follicular Unit Extraction to attain an aesthetic reconstruction of the hairline and the midhead section. 
2. Follicular Unit Extraction to restore the crown area.

 

Performed procedures

1. FUE (December 3, 2015) with 2852 FU
* 500 single hair FU
* 976 double hair FU
* 1376 triple hair FU

Parallel incisions in custom-sized blades technique (Cutting Edge blades of 0.7-0.85 mm).
Extraction performed with a 0.8 mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle.

2. FUE (June 5, 2018) with 3016 FU
* 457 single hair FU
* 1437 double hair FU
* 1122 triple hair FUE

Parallel incisions in custom-sized blades technique (Cutting Edge blades of 0.7-0.9 mm).
Extraction performed by WAW-system with a 0.85 mm serrated trumpet punch. 

Medical therapy with Finasteride 1 mg from 2015 to 2017.
No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts.
