Senior Member Marco Van Basten Posted April 5, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted April 5, 2019 Hi all, I am looking to book for the new Athens clinic set up by Bisanga & Cole. Would anyone suggest one over the other? Many thanks,
Bill - Seemiller
Marco, Dr. Bisanga has a stellar reputation online and has long been recommended by our community and an elite member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. Therefore, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to consult him and choose him as your next hair transplant surgeon. Please keep us posted and let us know what you decide to do. We wish you the best in your hair restoration journey. If you do choose undergo surgical hair restoration, we hope you share your experience and photos here on this forum 🙂 Best wishes, Bill
Raphael84
@Marco Van Basten How are you? I believe that ones final choice of Dr is a very personal decision. Most importantly you need to do your research and be confident that you are in the hands of one of the elite. Somebody with experience and the best of training. A physician who has your long term situation as his priority, and applies this philosophy in your hairline placement and design and donor management. Then the intricacies of surgery and the artistic nature of the surgeon gives each Dr their personal approach and "style". This is what ultimately convinces somebody that they should undergo hair transplantation with this specific Dr. I have a link that I will send over to you that I think you may find educational and may be valuable for you. Ill contact you privately as opposed to sending an outside link on the forum. Senior Member OliverAtom Posted April 10, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2019 I would go with Bisanga since I have seen really nice results from him over the years. Good luck!
Raphael84
@OliverAtom Dr Bisangas results that have been showcased on this very forum over the past several years are very impressive, I would agree. A simple search on this forum shows a large range of different cases with different types and extents of hair loss. Before I had any attachment to Dr Bisangas clinic, he was one of my top Drs for consideration. It is a pleasure to now be able to represent his new clinic. Senior Member Markee Posted April 10, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2019 Does Dr Bisangas ever do any temple point work? I know he can handle receded temples but I can never really find any good examples of him going down and restoring the full temple points

Senior Member rocketmas Posted April 11, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted April 11, 2019 Quote @Raphael84 Hi- Does Dr Bisanga work out of Brussels also or is only in Athens ? Is he known more for hairline and good frontal density work or large NW5 cases ? Thanks, Sunil
Raphael84
@rocketmas Dr Bisangas main clinic is his BHR Clinic in Brussels. He will continue to be based mainly in Brussels. But he has opened the new BisangaCole clinic in Athens and will be performing surgery there also. It may appear that Dr. Bisanga and Dr. C have formed this group for financial means. They have not. They both have extremely successful practices where they can demand a much higher price point than Athens, and generally with a healthy waiting list and surgery scheduled several months in advance. They formed this clinic out of a necessity to help a population of people that lack the financial resources to live happy and productive lives free from concerns over their hair loss and to help them avoid unsafe clinics due to a lack of financial means. The subset of individuals with limited funds is much larger than the group with a large bank account. This group will also be more appreciative and we will help them avoid bad surgery in low cost clinics. Our mission is to help these people. The effort to protect patients is why we have opened the clinic in Athens. Our mission is clear. We are protecting patients from inferior quality surgery. Dr Bisanaga has been performing hair restoration surgery for over 15 years. I would suggest that he is equally successful and well regarded for his hairline artistry as he is for larger sessions for more extreme norwood cases. If anybody is interested in receiving further information about the motivations behind the new BisangaCole Clinic in Athens and their Drs and price points, please don't hesitate to contact me. Experiencing hair loss hugely affected me. I struggled greatly with insecurity and a lack of confidence which led me to the decision to undergo my own hair transplant surgery. It was the best decision I could have made. It allowed me to regain my confidence and love for life. Throughout my journey several people took their time out to advise and educate me of the process and techniques of hair restoration. The support they gave me was huge in regards to moving forward with my situation. This is why, now, I really want to be in a position to give back. Raphael84
@Markee Here is another patient, this time with the work being more subtle. The angle of the photo isn't ideal, but if you use the freckles on the patients forehead as a reference, you can see how/where the hairs have grown. Raphael84
@yesplease Whilst it is subjective, I wouldn't tend to agree. If you look at the patients situation pre HT. His hair started at almost his mid scalp and the hairline design as desired by the patient has an appropriate shape. His hairline doesn't appear thinner than his native hair where he doesn't appear to have experienced loss. I believe that when comparing pre and post HT photos side by side, it is a hugely successful result and I for one, as somebody has experienced extensive loss in the front, very much like the hairline and how natural it looks. The temporal growth is also impressive. Raphael84
@Toms How are you? Of course I can take a look but its not as easy as you would think. The vast majority of patients prefer not to share their photos publicly even with their face covered so of course that rules out a huge amount of patients. The percentage of guys who request temporal points are generally pretty low anyway, so its not the easiest surgery type in regards to finding numerous results. Having said that, bear with me and I will do my best to find a few more. LonelyGraft
Didn’t dr col e train bisanga in fue? Makes the op’s question kinda moot if so.
Raphael84
@jj51702 How are you? Dr John C did indeed train Dr Bisanga initially in around 2003. Since then Dr Bisanga has obviously worked extremely hard in building his honest reputation in becoming one of the most respected and elite physicians in the field. Im sure over the last 15 years both Drs have not only obviously evolved in their techniques and understanding, but also have their own artistry and subtle differences in approach. This is what makes every surgeon unique and makes each one stand out from the other. Otherwise every surgeon would be offering the same professionalism, care, and quality of result and it would just be the financial aspect that would differ. In which case patients would naturally choose the cheaper option. I wish it was this simple. But unfortunately not. Every surgeon offers their unique approach and level of experience and quality. This is where Drs Bisanga and John C will offer unparalleled experience and knowledge, their own personal approach and unique touch, and with the mission statement of the new clinic in Athens, competitive pricing. 1 Patient Advisor for Dr. Bisanga - BHR Clinic ian@bhrclinic.com - BHR YouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcH4PY1OxoYFwSDKzAkZRww I am not a medical professional and my words should not be taken as medical advice.
