Senior Member elduterino Posted March 1, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted March 1, 2019 Why is shock loss an issues? all the hair grows back regardless I would think starting oral minox a week later after surgery will help hair grown back earlier and stronger. ..that's what I did and I see hair growing back at 2 months + 5 days. Senior Member gillenator Posted March 1, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted March 1, 2019 Preventing shock loss post-op is very difficult because the trauma is already induced and shock loss as we know is how the scalp responds to it. Pre-op measures IMHO have more merit. Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic. My opinions are not medical advice, but are my own views which you read at your own risk.
