The redness is totally in the realm of what's considered "normal". Depending on your skin tone/sensitivity, it can last longer than others. Mine persisted for longer than I would've liked - but I do know that it was a lot more noticeable to me than it was to anybody else. To others, it wouldn't even catch their eye - and when I brought it to their attention to get their input, they said it looked like a mild sunburn and they didn't think twice about it.

(And speaking of sun, don't get sunburned! Keep the recipient area out of the sun for the first 6 months. 😎)

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My views/opinions are my own and don't necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.
