Regular Member Myr Posted February 22, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted February 22, 2019 What do you think of my donor hair? Am I seeing retrograde alopecia or dupa here? My hair is quite short in pics but maybe a trained eye can already see if I am screwed or not.
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted February 22, 2019 Administrators Share Posted February 22, 2019 Looks like retrograde alopecia. That doesn’t mean you’re screwed. Just means you have less donor supply. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. My comments are not medical advice. However, dont´t you think at least ethical doctors would not consider patients with retrograde alopecia as suitable candidates?
Senior Member gillenator Posted February 22, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted February 22, 2019 It depends how advanced it is and if there is miniaturization in the primary donor region. I do not see any evidence of DUPA. 1 Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic. I’ve had three hair transplants and my results are going strong 5 years later. As long as they don’t use grafts from that area you’re fine. Check out my journey in my signature.
