Senior Member Mr S Posted February 2, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted February 2, 2019 Hey Guys, I recently had my first procedure, and thought I’d share my experience. as when I was researching profoundly for months before pulling the trigger reviews on forums played a huge part on my decision on what clinic to use.About Me25 years old, was born with a high hairline but slowly receding since around 21.Have been taking Finasteride 1mg for over 8 months with no sides.I know I’m still fairly young, and it is likely I will need future procedures. But if I can gain some confidence back and have hair for another 10-15 years I’ll be happy. Why Dr Keser1. He does the entire procedure himself with no use of techs.- This played a huge part as I didn’t like the idea of gambling on the technician’s experience. It also reassured me I should get a good result.2. Surgery is not rushed. My procedure 1700 grafts were spread over 3 days – 600 grafts / 600 grafts / 500 grafts.3. From the reviews I have seen he can produce very natural dense hairlines, with a very conservative graft count – which is also very important to me due to my age.He may be priced a lot higher than most clinics in turkey but doesn’t need huge amounts of grafts so costs are similar to other top clinics with a lower graft price.I found my experience very pleasant and professional during my time at the clinic & would strongly recommend anybody considering Keser.Travel & StayBeing from the UK I was unaware there are no direct flights to Ankara which is a bit of a pain. So, I flew to Istanbul then changed and flew to Ankara which is only a short 1-hour flight from Istanbul. When I arrived in Ankara, I was collected in a Luxury taxi arranged by the clinic to drop me at my hotel.I travelled alone, which I would strongly advise against. Especially for your first procedure as it can be a quite a nerving experience. The whole travelling and staying alone in a foreign country I found the difficult part as the surgery was fairly easy.I found it difficult in Ankara ordering food etc as nobody really speaks any English I just kind of had to just hope I could understand the menu or it had pictures so I could point at what I wanted. Before & After Photos – I will update monthly with pictures 1 day post op 8 Days post Op - No scabs

Raphael84
@Mr S Congratulations on your recent procedure. The work looks clean. Did you have any conversation with Dr Keser regarding possible future loss? Did he have any concerns considering your age? He didn't mention any concerns but did say i had a very good donor if future procedures are required.
Regular Member Cristian1 Posted February 18, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted February 18, 2019 @Mr S How was the overall procedure experience? How was the communication? I'm still taking to Ozgur, Dr. Keser assistant because I really want to do an HT as well in June and I'm considering dr.Keser because he works very clean and he puts so much effort in these HT's. The overall experience at the clinic was very good. I felt in very safe hands. Dr Keser doesn’t speak much english, but a translater was present throughout my entire procedure every day. Regular Member Cristian1 Posted February 19, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted February 19, 2019 Very nice to hear that. And how do you manage to go with money at the airport in Turkey? Did you already had the money in the airport or you pull out the money from ATM or bank in Turkey?

I was quoted 1500-2000 grafts, so i exchanged enough for 2000 grafts prior to travelling. As i think it may have been difficult to exhange money in turkey and know your getting a good rate. I wasn't keen on the idea of carrying that amount of cash everyday, so i gave it to Dr Keser on the first day for safe keeping. He only used 1700 grafts so refunded me the excess.

Regular Member Carefall Posted March 31, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted March 31, 2019 Looks on track. Really like the design! How much time was spent on consultation and design of hairline? Could you also include a pic of donor in next update?
Senior Member Mr S Posted March 31, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 31, 2019 Thanks. The consultation and hairline design was around 45mins maybe slightly longer i can't remember exactly but Dr Keser took his time and was very paitent as i changed the hairline twice before i was 100% happy as i only wanted a very conservative hairline due to my age. Regular Member Clark.Ethan Posted April 6, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted April 6, 2019 I see. I'm curious about your opinion, do you like what you see until now, when you go in the mirror and see your hair?(I know it's too early to judge but just a brief opinion) do you regret it going there? jonnyalex
I'm certain this will be a good result. I am seeing him in May, I previously had a large HT with Asmed. I'm hoping to fix my hairline with 1000 grafts. Keep us updated.
Regular Member therealmvp2016 Posted April 10, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted April 10, 2019 I can't decide between ASMED and Dr. Keser. I've been set on ASMED for the last 5 years... but Keser is impressive too.. What do u think?
