I think it's very interesting and intelligent to do this as two smaller procedures, and I applaud you for your patience there. You got to see how the first one went as far as yield, it's almost an investor's sort of marketing strategy.

I think there is something to be learned here, especially as your results look so fantastic. Please keep us updated.

Apologies for the long delay.
Ran into some stuff in life getting in the way.   Had to come off the minoxidil which led to some native hair shedding for quite a period of time.

here are a few quick pics I took on my phone today.  Still cutting short  this is basically #1 on top and 0a on the sides , under  bright light ...

I do not know if others recognize but within the last 12 month I see a lot of results which already show significant growth after just 4 month.

Is this coincidence or do have some of the clinics changed their protocol?

I don’t think it’s any particular clinic responsible, it really comes down to the patient, some just grow faster than others.

@TimeForAction

Thanks Melvin

Next  Monday September 14 I will going for a third procedure with Dr. Konior in Chicago.

I will say that as I expected , 600 grafts for the crown in a NW 4/5 was just a drop in the bucket, which is why I did not post any pics from that zone.  Yes there was definite improvement but there  is a ways to go cosmetically.     Hoping to get another 600 approx there in this next procedure and to also drop the hairline down a bit on the right side now, add a bit of density.

I will say that after my first procedure I was anxious to get my second one.

But After this second one, I’m quite happy - and was even on the fence about it 2 months ago with covid.

I am hopefully optimistic that my hair needs will be fully satisfied  after Monday’s procedure.

Density levels look great considering you buzz it down so low.  Most HT"s wouldn't be able to pull off that seamless a transition between the transplanted and native hair regions.  Good luck with the 3rd round next week and keep us posted! 😁

Have you ever grown your hair out? I'm wondering if it would look diffuse, but instead the buzz cut makes it appear normal.

Looks great btw.

Good question.

I have a balding crown so I don't grow it out very much, as I don't like the way that appears.

I'd like to grow it out a bit more, which is why I am going for a 3rd procedure. I definitely need more density in the crown, and a bit more at the front. Due to my sides and back being so coarse, it does make my hair loss appear more diffuse as you said.

Was there a thread/update regarding your 3rd procedure?

would be interesting to see your latest results and hear your final thoughts on the journey.
