Regular Member redarmy Posted January 18, 2019 Regular Member Posted January 18, 2019 Hey there, i'm one day post op and would like to ask if it's ok to wear baseball cap or it can pull grafts? apart from totally avoiding being outside(which is impossible) what is the best way to protect the hair?
Regular Member purple18 Posted January 18, 2019 Regular Member Posted January 18, 2019 (edited) When I left the clinic after my HT they gave me a couple of the little cloth bandanna-ish caps that tie in the back - the same one surgeons often wear. I found those very useful to give me basic coverage while putting the least possible stress on the grafts. Search Scrub Cap or Surgeon's Cap. Edited January 18, 2019 by purple18
Senior Member gillenator Posted January 18, 2019 Senior Member Posted January 18, 2019 A loose fitted ball cap will work fine as well. 1 Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic.
