Regular Member MeetYourMaker Posted January 10, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted January 10, 2019 I got a haircut after 8 months of hair transplant. My crown / vertex looked really thin after the cut. It was 2 months ago. Now I am waiting for my hair to grow up again, but confused on how to calculate my days / months about transplant. Should I say I am at 10 months or 2 months? Does hair grow faster after haircut?
Senior Member voxman Posted January 10, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2019 Your crown/vertex appeared thin simply because you shortened the length of your hair, and in some cases longer hair has the appearance of more body or thicker hair. You're still 10 months out, you just had a haircut. Did you shave it or just get a trim? Hair does not grow any faster or slower after a haircut. I could so have answered this another way. I'm serious. Just look at my face. My Hair Regimen: Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Regular Member MeetYourMaker Posted January 10, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 10, 2019 It was almost total shave. I see what you mean tho, voxman.
Senior Member voxman Posted January 10, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2019 Oh well - an almost total shave is definitely going to look thin because the scalp is exposed for all to see. Senior Member Dazed Posted January 10, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2019 Why would somebody get a transplant and then shave their head?
