BHRClinicSpain
Hi, This is another case from Dr. Alcaide. The patient came to rebuild the frontal area and he was looking for a conservative hair line design. In order to achieve his goal, Dr. Alcaide got 2992 FUE grafts. Please take into account that the patient had very good hair characteristics, specially in terms of caliber, and also wavy. So he needed a lower amount of grafts compared to other patients with similar hair loss. Here the data: Dr. Antonio ALCAIDE BHR Clinic Spain Age: 41 Technique: FUE Medication: Finasteride after the surgery Hair Caliber: Very coarse Previous procedures: No Total FU used:- 2292 * FU breakdown:- 1s 672 2s 1221 3s 399 TOTAL: 2292 That means 2292 FU = 4311 Hairs. Average = 1,88 hairs/FU. Pictures show the result at 8 months. Bill - Seemiller
Daniel, Thanks for posting another impressive result. The front went from completely bald to what appears like true density. What is the actual density of the transplanted area? i look forward to seeing more best wishes, Bill
BHRClinicSpain
Hi Bill, Thank you very much from your comments. Dr. Alcaide usually places an average density of 40-50 FUs/cm2 on the 1st cm. approx. of the hair line using single grafts, and then it drops to 30-35 FUs/cm2. That said, maybe in this specific case the density placed was a little below average due to the thickness of the patient's hair. Raphael84
Oh my good. That is absolutely amazing. That has to be one of the best transformations I can remember seeing for some time. Good for the patient that he has such a coarse thick caliber of hair. Wow. I am honestly blown away by this result. More people need to see this. Amazing! What looks like a very conservative hairline immediately post HT, actually appears far less conservative the hair has grown in. Very nice. BHRClinicSpain
Raphael84 / VicTNYC, Thank you very much for your comments. As said this patient had a very good hair in terms of calibre, so he needed a smaller amount of grafts compared to other patients. But Dr. Alcaide managed it wisely using the necessary FUs.
