3900 grafts with Dr. Sethi & Dr. Bansal, DHT (modified FUE), 1 year

Recommended Posts

This patient was a 33 year old, Grade IV Bald case. His donor was good and his family history had similar baldness. And we planned a practical hairline for him wherein his forehead is neither too small nor too big and we have also kept in mind the future of his baldness where his crown might become bald and he might require a second sitting. He was also advised to take Finasteride and Minoxidil to prevent the ongoing hair loss. The results presented here are after 1 year of his procedure and he is well maintained upon medications.

Note: To minimise the requirement of the grafts during the procedure and give a better and younger (not of teens!) hairline we use a concept of "three peak" hairline. To create the peaks we need around 20-30 grafts. But these peaks give an illusion of a lower hairline and takes away a lot of baldness from the facial profile. The central peak corresponds to the midline and two lateral peaks corresponds to mid pupillary lines. The hair line abruptly runs back from the mid pupillary line to meet the temporal area and produces the fronto-temporal angle.
